TAMIL GUIDE – NSW (Since 1977)

There have been 4 issues of Tamil Guide since its inaugural issue in 1997. The fifth issue of `Tamil Guide (TG)’ will be published in 2008. The Tamil Guide has been a very useful reference directory publication for a decade for Sydney Tamils. Every Tamil wishes to have a copy as a useful reference in their home and car. As it was initiated and run as community project we wish to continue the same trend to service our community. The TG 2008 will be published by Kalappai Publications of Australian Society of Graduate Tamils (ASoGT) in collaboration with the Australian Medical Aid Foundation (AMAF).

The aim is to distribute 6000 copies of Tamil Guide, with at least a copy to every Tamil household in Sydney. This will be in A5 size as usual.  It will consist of business, community and general information which is vital to our community. The Tamil Guide shall once again unite the local Tamil Community.

The TG 2008 will be bigger and better in many ways. There will be more community and business information in more pages than previous issues. We also include Tamil related information from interstates. The TG 2008 will be published in January 2008 for the year 2008. This will cover the whole year of 2008 until we publish the TG 2009 in early 2009. You may also refer all information and advertisements on our internet website (www.tamilguide.com.au).

The Tamil Guide is the only comprehensive Tamil Directory in NSW. We provide the community with a ready reference to identify the various services and merchandises needed by Tamil families from time to time.
